NO!! If there is going to be a Voltron game, I want it on a REAL video game system. Not some rip-off video/game/music player that people are buying because the graphics look good.

Wait, so you mean you want it on the N64? Since the XBox and PS2 are both Video (DVD), Game, and Music (CD Players) that have graphics that look good, which is why people buy them? Sorry, gotta come up with a better way to rip on the PSP, since that describes all current game systems. The Gamecube can't play music or DVD's, but it's still bought by people because it looks good. But, I don't want it on PSP unless it is on a console as well because it needs to be playable on a TV, which the DS and PSP aren't capable of... |

I'm with OZC, gotta come up with a BETTER excuse than that my friend. As for me, I say "YES!" A Voltron game would be sweet on the PSP. Especially if it's in 3D.

No, I am serious. Why would you want a Piece of S*** Portable when you can get better graphics on the PS2, X-Box, and GC? Not to mention it will be a lot better to play on a REAL video game system rather than Sony's overpriced hunkajunk. $250 is seriously over priced. No portable system is worth more than $100, especially one that with $60 Memory Cards and rehashes of old games. The only game that looks to be something new is Death Jr.
If there is a Voltron game, it should be on either the PS2, X-Box, or GC. |

If you wait a couple of months the price for the PSP will go down.

If yes, then your views on the PSP are valid. However, if not, you are ragging on the PSP for unfair reasons. Yes, it costs 250 bucks and that isn't in everyone's price range. But you know what? Neither were the PS2 or the XBox when they launched. An iPod? Well, if you have 500 bucks to blow on an MP3 player when a cd player does the same job at a fraction of the cost? You are claiming the PSP is a piece of crap because it is a feature packed portable ENTERTAINMENT system. It isn't a simple portable. It is a music and movie player. The PSP is not a piece of shit portable by any means. If you don't like portable game systems, thats your beef. Don't blame a fine pieceof hardware simply because you prefer a console. As for the memory cards, yeah, tehy cost alot, but in theory, 25 bucks for an 8MB PS2 card is outrageous too when you consider that for a few bucks more you can buy a 256MB SD card. Rehases of old games aren't a problem...hell, people like old games. Look at the GBA...that thing is a Super NES on wheeles. The DS is an N64 on wheels. One of the top selling DS games is the remake of Mario 64. Gee, is it because it's a brand new game? No! It's because people enjoy classics. The GTA games are rehashes of the previous games but they sell like crazy. Thats why games like that are being made for the PSP. I'm not saying a Voltron game should be made exclusively for the PSP. But I'm sick of people bashing on the PSP when they start spouting things out as though the PSP is simply rehashing games and being overpriced. Check the facts and consider the past before you start bashing on the PSP. It's a solid portable and I see it giving Nintendo a good run and it's about time someone did. |

I for one haven't played the PSP, but I don't think that Voltron should appear on it. Given the graphics and control capabilities of console systems compared to handheld, they are pretty close. However, for mere looks, Voltron would be better on the console so that it can be played on a tv. Ofcourse, no one has yet to mention having the game on the PC...which would also be an option.

Question: Have you actually used a PSP? Seen one in person and played it? If yes, then your views on the PSP are valid.[/quote:d721ec6fa6] Actually I did the other day at GS, and I did not like it. The controls were just as bad as the DS. [quote:d721ec6fa6]However, if not, you are ragging on the PSP for unfair reasons. Yes, it costs 250 bucks and that isn't in everyone's price range. I'll stick to CDs because I can buy them in a store, get a case, cover art, etc with them. Having to put $60 up front for a system that is unknown how many games it is going to have is just wrong. I do not understand why they just can't offer an 8MB card for the PSP as well. [quote:d721ec6fa6]Rehases of old games aren't a problem...hell, people like old games. Look at the GBA...that thing is a Super NES on wheeles. The DS is an N64 on wheels. And yes, GTA are rehashes, which is one of the reasons I do not like the games. Vice City was the only GTA game I like. I'm not totally againt rehashes/ports, because I would love to own a MegaMan X Collection, Ninja Gaiden Trilogy, or Super Metroid on a current system, but when Sony announced the PSP, they said it was going to be a revolutionary portable system, and so far, I am not impressed at all. Seriously, the PSP is the best portable that had been put out uptodate. For a $250 hardware that can play Game, Movie (DVD UMD), Music, Pic (JPG), and ACCESS TO THE INTERNET, and when you compare that to the price of Ipod, Handheld Palm, or DS, it's nothing. Secondly, the graphic on the PSP is so darn good and how about that widescreen, you wouldn't know the difference playing on TV or portable lol. Okay I"m being sarcastic, lol. No... not unless it was available on all portable platforms. I don't own a PSP, and for several reasons, I don't plan on getting one for the forseeable future. I won't buy one just for a Voltron game.
If, however, a Voltron game is made for one of the systems I do own, I'd consider it. |
