Just came across a couple of up-coming comic covers (presumably for Voltron: A Legend Forged):

Both are by Mike Bear. The first is easily one of his better Voltron works. The second one is crappy.

The first one is very good. The second one he openly admits he only worked on it for a day. I think the lack of inking on the pencils makes it look unfinished from what we're used to. For a deviantArt pic, the coloring is very good. However, as a Goofball, I don't get why Devil's Due is commissioning quite a bit of covers featuring the "Merlin" character, but not a single one featuring the lone Doomite along for the ride.

Zarkon: I'm glad I'm not in this miniseries, those pants they made me wear in the first one chafed.

Hagar: At least you didn't look like the Predator's mother.

Cossack: I'm glad I'm obscure enough to never be featured in these licenses, but known enough in the fandom to not have my name screwed up.

Keith: Well what are you all complaining about? I mean, look what they did to me!? I looked 'okay' in the first comic. 'Good looking and more myself' in the one EJ Su did, then turned - and WHOA! What happened to my hair!?

Lance: Yeah, but the Princess in that issue 10 & 11 . . . DAMN! She was hot, hot, HOT!!!

Allura: At least we didn't look like something from V3D . . .

Keith and Lance: *exchange looks and nod*

Romelle: *waves hand* Excuse me, but does someone want to explain the red hair thing . . . and what about Bandor?

Comic Bandor: *in a deep rich voice* What about me? I've matured over the years, Sister.

Keith: Good God . . . someone get me out of here, please?!
