Accoarding to www.wep.com the DDP contract expires in October 2005. Now for the difficult question:
Will WEP reissue the license to DDP? Issue the comic book license to a reputable comic book company such as Marvel, D.C. or Dark Horse? Issue the license to a garbage company similiar to Modern Comics? Or just sit on the license like they do with everything else Voltron related?
My guess is that they will sit on the license or reissue to DDP. It would make too much sense to issue it to Dark Horse, which would be a find company to do the comic.

Shame we don't have the money to buy out WEP so we can cooperatively run everything ourselves... (Don't worry WEP, it's *very* wishful thinking, I'm broke as hell and two inches from public assistance LOL)

Honestly, WEP should only give DDP the licence back if they can give us the rest of Mark Waid's backup, Dan and Marie writing, and EJ doing art. If not, screw it.
Big demands, but I want quality. Mark Waid is writing the new City of Heroes comic and it is amazing.
In fact, why not give Voltron to Top Cow, the company producing the COH comic. Best part is that it would be under Image AGAIN, and would get the exposure it needs.
