Those are made from Popy/Bandai.

The first one is similar to the 6" VV and LV Voltron toys that Matchbox put out. Those are "ST" figures. The larger 10"-14" figures are "DX" figures. The second one is similar to the 4" figures that was available in Asian specialty shops. That one shoots missiles from the chest (opens up).
