I know a lot of you have been waiting for an official Voltron original series soundtrack CD for awhile so I personally took it upon myself to make it happen.

Using the files from Media Blasters I enlisted the professional help of Jim MacMorran of Wildwood Music Studios where he was able to locate the original John Peterson pieces and clean them up, process a bit and in some cases, edit together to give a more rewarding listening experience.

Much like the Saber Rider soundtrack a lot of made for TV music is in chunks so on some of the tracks like the opening we edited them together and the whole feeling is like a Voltron Opera. Hearing these themes isolated really brings back memories and speaks to the quality of work done by John Peterson.

Keep in mind the reason there are so many tracks is that alot are just :30 - 1 min. chunks of a theme. Jim also managed to grab some nice Sound FX and sound bites as well do a fun "dance remix"...

Sorry for the long post but one last thing is that the names of the files were based off the original show logs which had simple names like the ones below. I am in touch with John Peterson himself so hopefully he will be able to write a little something for the insert.

My one question concerns #s 46 & 47.

#46 says "Voltage" and #47 says "Voltrage" Is one of these a typo?

That's something you don't see everyday! A French Voltron record "Interpreted by Norbert (Arias)" (anyone remember 45 record singles?).

Have a listen! It's kind of lively.

Are there any updates on the soundtrack CD? I look forward to buying one!
