Yeah, you need room for Nanny and other people to rescue.
Oh right, (sarcastically) They couldn't animate her and other characters with the CGI. (too cheap? too difficult?)
It was like the Voltron force and Coran were the only people on the Arus.

OK NOW I'm in trouble.

The technology behind CGI productions was still fairly new when V3D was being made. Each CG model would cost them to create and animate. It's also why the VF were always in those armored suits; if you wanted a single set of civillian clothes for each member of the Force, as well as their flight suits, that would double the number of CG models needed.

These days, though, there are [i:9145f8e850]games[/i:9145f8e850] that could produce better animation.

[EDIT] The problem with removing Amalgamus is, you don't get to [i:9145f8e850]abuse[/i:9145f8e850] that sucker.

I seem to have blotted most of V3D from my memory. I thought that Tim Curry made a good voice for Lotor and was wondering what was wrong with him? I would have turned Amalgamus into a robeast and have Voltron, well, I am sure I don't need to tell you what should happen next.

Zarkon a good guy?!?!?!?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! What next Lotor marrying Allura, because of her undying love for him? Come on! The writers need to learn the phrase "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

Tim Curry did make a good Lotor. He is the most prolific actor out there I believe.

Also, about the CGI. I agree with you, Shadowlight. It was not very advanced back then. That is why it shouldn't have been done that way-IMO.

your kidding right? Tim Curry was lousy at doing Lotor, it sounded nothing like the original and looked retarded. That was like listening to a chalkboard being scratched on.

Lotor sounded like your typical run off the mill mad scientist, ala Gargoyles. It's not what I want.

I thought Tim Curry did well as Lotor. Yes, the original voice would have been ideal, but if he wasn't available then they had to find someone else. Tim Curry's Lotor was different but it wasn't bad.

Now the cyborg look Lotor had is another story, but we can't blame that on the actor.

Get rid of Amalgamus, make sure to include shots of cities on Arus, populate the castle with civilian and military staff.
I would keep Tim Curry as Lotor.
