Wow, no topics up in the V3D forum yet?

Ok, let's start one...

How about a general question:

If you had the chance, how would you have improved V3D?

Better writing.

I was actually talking to one of my editors yesterday who came out of the closet as an anime fan and she said she watched Voltron in the 80s. She suggested they should bring it back as a cgi version. I then told her about V3D.

And what did she say to that?

I didn't mind 3D that much. I do wish there was a little less action and more character development/story lines. I also didn't like that the faces weren't very expressive.

Better character designs. Not too mention, the Lions looked like they had gone on a diet and Zarkon obvious has been eating a lot more than he use to.

i would have liked to see mainframe entertainment take a crack at it... instead they were busy producing trendmasters "war planets - shadowraiders" series (which i thought was actually prettygood)

Somehow convince Pixar that they should delve into CG for television.

Now would be a better time for Pixar to be involved in V3D, but back then Pixar was still shackled to Disney.

I would have liked to see Mainframe do V3D as well. They did a great job on Beast Wars.

That would have been interesting to see mainframe's version of the series. Maybe it still would have been on TV (although I doubt it, the plot was too different from the original series to be acceptable IMHO)
