Resident Ego-Maniacal Mod

"Consider The Alternatives" is the only decent episode in the whole series. quote: Originally posted by Gankutsuou: like Hagar suddenly being in love with Alfor
Yeah, that was an awful plot twist. quote: and the Robeast that is blown up in ep 11 is back in ep 12
It's not the same Robeast, it's a different one with the same design. One big plot hole in V3D that really bothered me is where Queen Ariella states that Allura had been in training to fly Blue Lion since she was a child, yet it's clear in the original series she never flew Blue Lion until she grew up. The V3D writers watched the original series prior to writing V3D, so I have to wonder how they missed that. Especially when one of the V3D writers, Marc Handler, actually worked on the original series.

Correct. If I remember correctly, it was mentioned in Episode 49 "Coran's Son Runs Amuck".

My mommy always told me that I was special Anyway, I use to wake up on Sundays to watch it because there were also other cartoons that I wanted to see that aired around it.

I'm finally getting around to watching Voltron 3D, since it seems that much of it is up on youtube(not sure if all of it is there, though). I'm up to the first four episodes. It's nice to have more Voltron episodes, and it's still great to see the big guy in action.
But... I see why everyone says this series has so many problems. Galaxy Garrison shouldn't have so much apparent control over the Voltron Lions. True, Keith and the rest are soilders of GG, but Allura is not, and they shouldn't be able to *order* her around. Also, where are the stuffy admiral guys? Here, it seems like GG consists of a robot and......King Zarkon. I can't buy that GG, however bureaucratical it is, would appoint Zarkon as their Ambassador of Peace(or whatever).
Also don't care for the CG look. Voltron's face looks kinda pudgly, and the regualr lions' heads looks board and elongated. Also, everyone seems to wear metal suits all the time. Pidge and Hunk were first shown retired from the Voltron force, but had those suits on. Same for Allura, even though she hasn't piloted her Blue Lion for a few years. Haggar's the only villain so far that sounds and feels like the original series version(where's her cat?). This new cyborg-Lotor doesn't look or feel like the original version.
Also, so far, it seems like Lance is the main character. he was the star of episode 2, and the one that got everyone else moving in episode 4.
Of course, I'm only up to episode 4, and there's still a long way to go. But from what I hear, it doesn't get much better.
