Realistically, it would be Amalgamus.


For those who don't know who Hardware is, he's a little robot that only appears in VV at least once.

Thanks SGB because I honestly didn't recall the name of the robot in VV . . . other than people were made it sometimes! LOL!

One observation: Amalgamus was a video game console at one point; Hardware is an FM radio

I guess the animators for VV didn't have high expectations for the robots of the future.

Animator 1: Ok, we've got the big, butt-kicking robot with the awesome weapons and the expensive spinners, what else do we need?

Animator 2: How about an annoying side-kick robot that get's on everyone's nerves?

Animator 1: What should it look like?

Animator 2: How about a blue trash can?

Animator 1: No, that's been done. How about a radio and an 8-track?

Animator 2: I like the way you think.
