Why does everyone hate Stealth Voltron?
It wasn't that bad to me.

It looked ugly, to me. Didn't look like lions...I remember way back in the day someone likening them to hamsters :lol: It didn't have the same charm as the orginal design, and looked way too different. Look to the comics to see that Voltron's classic design can still look cool.

I don't speak for everyone, and if it didn't bother you, that's fine by me. I won't hurt ya. Welcome to the board.

I liked the idea, meaning the lions being black with stripes to represent color.. What I didn't like was the design of the lions.

Nice idea, poorly executed.

I agree with 80's Knight. I liked the idea of the black lions with the stripes. That's why I bought the stealth voltron toy, I just liked the color scheme. However, I really didn't like the actual physical form of the lions, nor did I like how Stealth Voltron was created.

Now, if Pidge had designed some really cool device that altered the color schemes of the lions in order to render them into "stealth mode" that would have made more sense. Besides, Stealth Voltron indicates some sort of Stealth technology that renders Voltron undectable. I don't think that was used effectively in the show.

And we don't like stealth voltron because the stealth lions look like stealth hamsters.

Stealth Voltron sucked because of it's bad design. And Stealth Voltron was completely unnecessary as well ... it was just a gimmick to sell more toys. :?
