There I was, sitting at my table eating dinner and I turned around to look up at my diecast Voltrons on the shelf above me. The original 80s Voltron, Trendmasters, and the Masterpiece.
My eyes widened in horror as the Masterpiece began to topple. The next thing I knew the lions had split apart on my table and floor, just as when they encountered witch Haggar so long ago.

I collected the parts but could not form Voltron. Black lion had been damaged. The lower right leg had snapped off. The tip of blue lion's tail had also chipped off. Sturdy plastic, my tuchus.

Now, blue lion is only half a lion and Voltron hobbles with a crutch. I am searching eBay for a cheap replacement. Anybody who had a spare black and/or blue lion (Yes, this was the replacement blue lion I got from Toynami, too) and is willing to part with them is asked to please contact me. One day, it could be you in need.

Wow man, I am so sorry! If I could, I certainly would. Sucks that they don't offer them in pieces rather than the whole kitt n kaboodle. Matchbox was at least smart with how they sold big V.

Cheap replacement...I'm not sure you're going to find a cheap one. I find them going cheaper than when first released, but still around 100 bucks, and it's for the whole set, and you only need 2 lions. Sucks your replacement Blue bit the dust. Insult to injury imo.

How soon are you hoping to do this? I might invest in another for parts sake in case gravity works against me in the future as well, and if it's not a rush thing for you, I'd be able to help.

I'm watching an ebay auction that's up on Sunday that's currently selling for $26. (If somebody here snipes me I'm going to be very upset.)

I have patience. If you end up buying the second for parts in the near future, let me know. Both lions are repairable but they require steadier hands than mine and a little more tinkering than I'm willing to do (don't want to exacerbate the damage).

How ironic. I've got steady hands, but craptacular at writing papers (a thesis is due that I am procrastinating on) and you are excellent at writing, but have unsteady hands.
