The link is safe for work. She's covering up her bits with a blanket, but still! This girl's getting really out of control, and it's sickening. There have been a lot of photos leaked where she is showing off her undergarments in very inapropriate ways for her age, and now this. You'd honestly think Disney would try to put a stop to it.

It's Vanity Fair so nothing naughty's going to happy. She probably has pasties or tape (usually red tape) on to cover the "bad parts" just like Elizabeth Hurley when she had a photo shoot.

Of course, some sicko out there might Photoshop in naughty bits but then that's going into pedophilia territory.

(Just looked at the article) Damn! That girl looks like she's possessed! (and not in a good way) She better stick with the clean cut stuff or else she'll lose her audience (not me though, I was never a fan).

^ I know, just about every picutre I've seen of her, she looks like a demon, with her huge eyes and messed up teeth.

Who freaking cares, let the girl do what she wants. It is HER life after all.

She will end up like the rest of them, watch.

After watching Entertainment Tonight the photo shoot had her with black pants and her with a white blanket. It's not naked, not even "provocative" but still, too "grown up" for the kiddies (and since when did I ever care about kids anyways?).

Look at her shoulder and you'll see a strap. She has a bikini top under that towel.

The rest of the media is making something out of nothing (like that seat belt thing with Miley). Still, whatever she does "out of the ordinary" could affect her career so she has to watch herself before she accidentally hurts her public image. She can't have the best of both worlds in this situation. (Sorry about the bad pun )

I find it interesting that the photographer who took the Miley Cyrus pictures is the same photographer who took the picture of Demi Moore naked and pregnant. That seemed to raise a big stink in the media as well. Coincidence?...perhaps.

I think it's just wrong. She is just too young. Mainly because they make her look sleazy. But both Disney and Nickelodeon don't care. After all Zoey 101 is still on and judging by the new commercial I saw getting racier! Fortunately, my kids, especially my daughter, don't buy into that stuff.

I am so glad my daughter is not into Hannah Montana or any of that stuff yet. As if parent's don't have enough things to worry about.

Melissa Joan Hart....I had the biggest crush on her when she was on Clarissa Explains It All. She dressed up in Leia's Slave Bikini for some event years ago, the photos are on the web.

If you know how to raise a child properly, there is hardly anything to worry about. I do not understand what the big friggin deal is, so what if she wanted to do something artistic. It's only because she is a child star. That's the only reason why the media and certain parental groups are raising a problem. It's not like she posed in Playboy or anything.

You'd think pictures of her in an artsy manner for something like Vanity Fair would show that these kinds of pictures are ok, but the sleazy, "Girls Gone Wild" style of pictures found on most personal websites and profiles (such as MySpace) aren't.

I think the media blow out is kinda dumb.

What I don't like about this is that apparently these photos were taken after her parents left the photo shoot.

1. They should have not left
and
2. It would be so easy for a photographer to convince a kid that posing nude or semi-nude is "art." The photographer should have had parents permission before asking Miley to take her clothes off. It sounds to me that the photographer was being misleading. Otherwise she wouldn't have waited till her parents left to do the controversial shoot. I don't think she had ill intentions, but it was irresponsible for the photographer to do that.

However, if this is the worst thing Miley ever does, it's not so bad.
