Link was a hidden character for the Nintendo's port of Soul Caliber awhile back.

The only problem is, Yoda and Vader are in two different versions, depending on which system you get the game for.

yea to do Yoda vs Vader you need a friend with the competing system

Vader is PS3
Yoda is 360

Nintendo seems to be non existant

I have no problems with your Mary-Sue if cannon supports it.

The cannon supports about 180 pounds if fired correctly.

No big surprise there. Since Nintendo doesn't have the "latest high tech graphics" a lot of companies don't bother putting the really good games on the system.

The Force Unleashed and Ghostbusters will be coming to the Wii, thankfully. It'll be cool waving the remote around to control the proton packs.

Meh, the Wii is just an over hyped gimmick that people will eventually get sick of because it truly is a crappy machine. Do not get me wrong, I love my Wii, for Mario Galaxy, RE4, Metroid Prime 3, Zelda, to name a few (with only 4 more titles remaining that is), but it really has no REAL games. Pretty much everything on it is either a game that sucked 5 years ago with motion controls, or a pointless gimmick like Wii Fit. Not to mention pretty much everyone but Nintendo and Capcom half asses the controls.

Anyway, I cannot wait for this to come out, as it looks pretty cool. I haven't played a SC game since the first one (well, technically second one) that came out on the Dreamcast, so I look forward to this. Plus it is time to replace DoA4.

And of course, I'll be getting the PS3 version. Not just for Vader, but because I will take a PS3 over that broken down 360 any day. Oh, and because I am unsure that I even want to keep my 360.

The only reason MGS4 would appear on the X-Box 360 is if Kojima wanted to paint the sky red.

if you want countless variations on the RE, shooter, GTA, racing themes, and Blue-Ray playability, you get the PS3. If you want good online gaming with buddies, Netflix streaming, and homebrews, the 360 seems to get better reviews than PS3 among my friends. The Wii is not designed to have the most realistic blood splatter or boobie-bouncing algorithms, it was meant to develop the motion sensing (which the PS3 controllers have, but on a much lower level from what I've seen). You buy a Wii for the gameplay, not the graphics IMHO.

I am really hoping that SC4 has the custom characters, and that they can be played online. We could have our own Voltron Calibur channel: Keith and Lotor fight with Soul Calibur and Soul Edge, respectively Wink

The Wii may be an "overhyped gimmick", but I'd rather have a system that's different from the current and past systems, instead of one that just copies all other media devices and adds more fancy graphics.

The only difference in the past 3 playstations is the upgraded graphics and the addition of dvd playability and online play.

The x-box is basically a glorified windows pc with a controller.

The Wii, just like all previous Nintendo systems, is basically for the less intense, more casual gamer. The games may be simple, but at least it's different.

Anyway, that's my opinion on the current systems.

As for the Wii, several more mature games are coming out soon, including MadWorld which has some really interesting and violent aspects to the game.

But back on topic, I've never played any of the Soul Caliber games. They look interesting, but how are they different from all the other fighting games?

I disagree about the X-Box being a computer, as a computer doesn't break down every few months.

And I disagree with that. My nephew has X-Box and its never broken down - period.

My sister's computer however . . . that's a whole other story. Razzer

. . . sorry APS.

Video Game Buyer's Guide!

Are you rich and can afford to replace your hardware every 2 weeks?

Yes: Buy a PC.
No: Continue.

Do you have friends?
Yes: Continue.
No: Buy a PS3.

Online friends or real friends?
Online: Buy an XBox 360
Real: Buy a Wii

PS: I'm a 360 owner. I had an early version that broke down. MS was very nice about it, and replaced it within a week at no charge to me, and gave me a free month of XBox Live Gold to boot. I sold my second one to my brother and bought an Elite in anticipation of some of the new features. Both are still fully operational.

I used to be a Playstation guy. PS and PS2. But for this gen, I went with the 360, because it had a much better online component, and my 'real' friends moved out of town, so I wanted something with good online multiplayer options. The PS3 is a pretty amazing system, but it didn't have what I wanted from the get-go, and now it's too late. They still don't have all the features they need for a good online multiplayer system...only promises so far. But, I'm not buying another gaming system now, anyway.

Well, until the Next Generation rolls around. Wink
