Who is the Man -- Dead at 65
Posted Aug 10th 2008 3:36PM by TMZ Staff Isaac Hayes died early this morning in a Memphis hospital. According to WMC, a Shelby County sheriff's deputy responded to call from Hayes' wife after she found him on the floor near a treadmill inside their home. Hayes was taken to Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, and was pronounced dead at 2:08 AM. Story developing ... TMZ.com - I think the Scientologists killed him. I really do. well, that should be the last for the year. These things tend to happen in 3's. We had Heath Ledger, Bernie Mac, and now Isaac Hayes. They'll all be missed...

Heath Ledger's passing isn't as recent as Bernie Mac's or Isaac Hayes'. The third will be Paul Newman.
