Thanks, that did help. I definitely had the Goldbug toy in the video I referred to.

Anyway, I picked up two more Transformers this afternoon:

-- Classics Prowl

-- Classics Sunstreaker

Given my recent acquisitions, I thought I'd post an updated picture of my MISB/MOC Transformers collection, which still resides in my cupboard:

The Sky Lynx reissue and Classics Jetfire are not visible in the pic.

Nice collection going there SGB! You'll always have me beat though, as I'm not interested in many of the characters. Prime, Dino bots, Devastator, & Superioron are about it. I've got G1 Prime, and Masterpiece Prime, repros of Devastator and Superioron...so all that is left for my desire is the dino bots. Also, minus the Masterpiece set, the others do not have their packaging.

Meet IceFyre, Ingeir Autha Surr, Mia-Tuk, Denver, Draven, Nessy, & Sierra!

They would love some attention. Clicky clicky please!

Some good news for Dinobot fans ... Takara's next Masterpiece release will be Grimlock!

BBTS.com already have him up for pre-order.

http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=TAK10885&mode=retail

MP Grimlock will cost $150US and is slated for a March 2009 release. I'll definitely be purchasing MP Grimlock if the value of the Aussie dollar has climbed back up by March.

Im a bit out of date with current transformer toys.
I recently saw the deluxe classics line and fell in love with them. Prowl, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, Silverstreak were amongst my favs.

I hope to have enough money next month to obtain them.

BTW, Nice collection SGB!

KBL had a major Dork fit the other night. In Wal-Mart he saw a new 25th anniversary Optimus Prime with the grey trailer. It had an autobot symbol that had a push button which played dialogue from Optimus Prime (with the voice of Peter Cullen)> The symbol can be clipped to a belt or it can sit on your desk.

It also has a copy of the very first Transformers comic and the first couple of episodes on DVD. He was a little saddened by the price tag, $70

The newly crowned Queen of Parody and KBL's muse.

I hope they don't make you claim it on your 2009 taxes like the IRS is going to do to us here in the US for our "stimulus checks"

They won't. The $1400 was a one-off unconditional handout they've given to old-age pensioners, disability pensioners (which I'm one of), and carers to spend in stores in hope of getting the Aussie economy going again.

(The Aussie economy's going into deficit due to the government's poor handling of the financial crisis -- the Prime Minister has blown the $20 billion surplus in a matter of months!!!)

That's what the IRS told us...my friend who is an accountant informed us we can expect to be taxed on the $1200 we got 'tax free'.

Are you sure your PM isn't a US congressman in disguise???
