I think I may have found the GoLion DVD cover:

http://www.animeondvd.com/forum/showtopic.php?tid/29599/

If it is indeed the cover, it's not too bad though the font type used for the title is a little underwhelming. IMO the GoLion logo should be used in place of the text.

I had a feeling the cover would look something like this. Not the greatest, but not bad either.

Though admittely, it's kinda hard to tell on a small picture with a horizontal orientation.

Yeah....definitly need to jazz up the font. I don't like the one color, It'd look better if the letters were red or blue and trimmed with that gold color and maybe have the crown on top with the lines sandwhiching the name. Kinda like the logo I guess If you know what I mean.

It looks unfinished. Kind of bland.

An updated, work-in-progress version of the cover has just been posted in the KNOW section of voltron.com:

That is MUCH better. Is the second pic the inside of the cover?

I think the cover looks awesome. As for it being horizontal, that is how they did Tekkaman Blade.

The only reason MGS4 would appear on the X-Box 360 is if Kojima wanted to paint the sky red.

I had a look at the GoLion DVD cover, and from what I was able to read of the back of it, apparently whoever wrote the cover blabs doesn't have SpellCheck, or speaks English as a second language. It should be "humanity has been scattered," not "scatered." It's a bit embarassing.

Furthermore, I wish that the original, subtitled, and restored Go-Lion had been included as a bonus feature on the original Voltron DVD, since WEP had rights to it at one point. This way Voltron fans don't have to shell out so much money for the Go-Lion DVD's.

As for me, even if I had money, I would never buy them because in that parallel universe similar to Voltron, the two best-looking men (three, actually since Sven is two characters in Go-Lion) in that universe die off: Sven and Prince Avok. And all we female species are left with are wet-behind-the-ears Keith/Akira, immature smart-ass Lance/Isamu who looks like Arsene Lupin's kid brother (but is still cute), a chunky not-very-bright jock, and an underage androgyne. But that's a whole 'nother train of thought entirely.

An improvement. The picture is posted on Amazon. So this must be the final version?

Until you read it that way on your shelf, there is no need to complain.

I disagree. There would be no way of putting Voltron and Golion on the same disc without having to up the volume count due to decreasing the episode count per disc. Plus Voltron and Golion need to be kept seperate entities. Not to mention you are paying less than $20 for each volume. This is not like Narutard where they charge you $60+ per volume (especially for a lousy series).

Then why bother posting?

The front of the cover appears to be final.

Not sure about the back of the cover.

Actually, they could. Just make the discs doubled-sided. One side is Voltron. Flip the disc over, and you'd have Golion. Granted, you wouldn't have any art on the disc, but it would be doable that way.
