Being a fan of violent anime I like Golion a lot better. I mean who does not love dismemberment in anime shows? It sucked though having to read subtitles, I'm used to anime shows and movies where they are translated to english language without having to read it at the bottom of the screen. I seen the first episode and was impressed with it, it was a lot better than watching the first episode of Voltron on Youtube, still that will not keep me from buying the Voltron collection DVD's. I'm wondering if they will be releasing another collection to GoLion.

Volume 2 will come out on August 12th, if that's what you mean.

Yes that's what I meant, thanks for clearing that up. The series just keeps getting better and better from what I remember of the show.

Finished watching all the discs. It's almost like watching new eps. of Voltron. Loved it! To finally see the cut scenes especially of Kogane.... Razzer I look forward to the next 2 releases.

Noticed in the first couple of eps. that Akira has Keith "ways" (almost more of it): that he's caring for his teammates, Quiet was his righthand man. I prefer Keith's personality over Kogane. He's more gallant and attractive. And that voice!

I love the relationship and interaction among the guys. Nicknames were cute, so were the Beastmans' names. Loved Shorty's sense of humor. He's more funnier than Pidge.

Golion has more continuity. There's alot more going on, much deeper and serious in the storyline. I loved the continuous story in each ep. that it's about a war against the Galra Empire and not just a Zarkon attack. Almost like watching Star Wars.

As I figured, Fala is a handful just like Allura. The guys have some funny lines, though sometimes they were impolite to the Princess a few times. Quiet telling Princess to shutup threw me offguard. I laughed but I can't believe he said that!! I'll never feel the same way about these characters again. The cursing was a big turnoff.

I wish there was an English dub with Neil Ross reprising his role. Gotta hear Keith's sexy voice!!

It was nice to see the credits. I was curious who the artists were.

Didn't like the overlapping dvd's. Took awhile to remove.

Prefer the cover to be original Japanese artwork instead of an American comic book dented stone robot look. The screen caps in the menu looked blurry.

Why is there a blue vertical stripe on the right side of the menu? Looks out of place. Golion looks like he lost weight.

Well, it looks like Best Buy stores will not be receiving Volume 2 on its release date, just like Volume 1. Not a single copy is on order as of yesterday, and unless they are suddenly placed in a drop shipment for Monday without being ordered, there is no way stores will have them at all next week.

The only reason MGS4 would appear on the X-Box 360 is if Kojima wanted to paint the sky red.

Well, that sucks. The delay on volume 1; I could understand it, since there was that federal hoilday. But I don't see what the excuse is this time. How do they expect this to sell if it's not in stores on time?

Ah well, time to hit that preorder button on amazon...

Yeah, saw that in my inbox that it just shipped and that I should be getting it on tuesday. So it's not too bad if I'll get only a few hours later than if I could get it in the stores(still don't see why Best Buy is not getting this until two weeks later).

I know the translation isn't a word for word translation, but it seems like a bit of the dialogue seems to end in midsentence sometimes. Someone will say something and it'll end with "..." like the next caption will continue that sentence but it doesn't. Just seems strange considering how many times it happens.

GoLion, gattai!

To cut a story short not many people had cable TV in Britain back in 1984 and Voltron was on cable... So for me I am very dependent on CD Universe . com to get my fix.. They also sell Go Lion on there I check it out but have not brought it yet...

You know it's amazing that many of things said are in English, such as the weapon commands and the names of the Lions.

It looks like that tradition is as old as anime itself, going by the age of Golion. *Kyence is inspired to watch South Park's "Let's fighting love" on Youtube*

Arguing over the Internet is like the Special Olympics: if you win you're still retarded.
