DVD special features. Me, I'd like to be able to read notes and interviews with the directors and writers to learn things I might not of known about the shows. For example, where did they get the idea for Daibarzaals cool outfit or what made the creators think of lions,
castles, and magic. Or why Dairugger kind of looks like a Ronin warrior, was it intended? How did they feel about the shows lack of success? Was Dairugger suppose to be part of the Votes V, Combattler V, Daimos series? Was Golion a itended copy of Voltes V? Things about the show would be cool. None of this fanmade stuff or interviews with random people who don't even remember the shows.

Yeah, an interview with the creator/writer(s) of Golion and Dairugger would be very interesting. What was their inspiration for specific things? Golion seems more original than Dairugger to me (as Dairugger seems like Space Battleship Yamato with giant robots).

However, my guess is the Golion and Dairugger DVDs (and I still will believe it's happened when I have them in my hands) will probably be bare-bones as far as special stuff goes.

If they do special features, I bet one of them will be WEP editors talking about the process of slicing and dicing the anime to meet American standards. I'd love to hear their reaction to the Red Beret Robots episode and all the dismemberment and squirting blood.

I doubt we'll see much special features on the GoLion & DXV DVDs. Maybe some TOEI character design sheets or other TOEI GoLion/DXV materials.

I'm not holding my breath though.

That's awesome!!! I noticed the Doom society people wear old European style clothes (lacey cuffs and all that) but I guessed that Zarkon's outfit had just been made up. Wow!!!
