I sat in on the Media Blasters Panel and have a few Voltron DVD news items to pass along.

The current delays with volumes four and five are due to searching the world for the best quality source material for second season episodes.

MB is debating whether to release Go-Lion immediately after LV is down, after VV, or staggered with VV. The Go-Lion release would be patterned after their Teknoman sets.

Interesting news. But, what is the pattern they are following with Teknoman?

The packaging would be the same as Teknoman, not tins like Voltron. As far as what the packaging of Teknoman is, I don't know. The volumes would be 13 or more episodes each like Voltron and Teknoman.

Thanks for the report, mjm! Wink

I'd like to see GoLion released after LV is down, so long as it doesn't prolong the wait for VV.

In other words, I'd like to see GoLion and VV released simultaneously.

I could definetly see this happening, but what worries me is that it might take away from the VV release, and vice versa. After all, depending on funds, some would have to choose one or the other.

Confirmed. I own the complete Teknoman series from MB. The Teknoman DVDs are packaged in the standard DVD cases (three volumes), and each volume has 2 discs.

Teknoman is in 3 two disc sets that are in standard Alpha cases.

However, TEKKAMAN BLADE is in 3 three disc sets and are packaged in cardboard Digipack cases that have 1 disc holder opposite the cover and 2 disc holders opposite the back. It is pretty cool, and is most likely how Golion will be done.

As long as VV comes out right after Volume 5, I don't care when they release Golion (however, I will be buying Golion after rewatching various episodes from my raws).

However, what the topic creator posted worries me. Does this mean that Vol 4 will not be ready until Sept, and that Vol 5 may not be out until next year??????????

The only reason MGS4 would appear on the X-Box 360 is if Kojima wanted to paint the sky red.

Are they accepting consumer feedback anywhere?

I'd prefer to get VV before Go-Lion... just because they've already started Voltron, and I'd hate to see the Vehicle series get shafted again.

I would even vote for bumping the VVs ahead while they search for their LV-2 masters.

Smiler Smiler I'm running out of patient waiting for the release of VV.

I'm happy with the MB released of LV. There's no need for me to get the Go-Lion which in a way is the same as LV. If I'm MB, I'll release the VV first after all voltron fans had supported them throughout their DVD release. Don't make us wait too long cause thing could get change. That's all I have to say.

Vol 4 (Red Lion) is slated for Sept. 25. It's available for pre-order at amazon.com.
I predict Vol 5 (Black Lion) will be out either in December or early 2008.

I will predict the week of Valentines Day Black Lion will be released. Really, this could seriously happen.
