Michael Bell's "President Bush storyline" at the very end of the cast interviews made my entire week. I've never been this attracted to a man before.

I salute you, sir.

Mine too. Seriously folks! He's got the experience because he's already voiced Coran in V3D, so why not?

DVD #4 is great. The interviews were awesome. Michael Bell's President remark was great.

Has anyone realized that Mr. Keefe looks like Paris Hilton and Captain Hook had a baby?

I am a little confused on something. On the special disk there is a season three featurette. After watching it, I get the impression that all the episodes AFTER the first 52 are actually season 3. So does this mean that the first 52 are broken up into seasons 1 & 2 and that the episodes that were newly made are now considered season 3?

I think they were considering Vehicle Voltron season two.

as svedka pointed out.

its actually this way

VV was season 1
LV was season 2
LV new was season 3

that is that's how WEP numbered them for the episodes. All the VV episodes were 1## and LV episodes were numbered 2##

Ok...but didn't VV air after LV did here in America?

I think it's a little confusing the way they had it set up.

haha, this is where IT ACTUALLY gets confusing

Voltron, when it was syndicated had actually mixed the two series episodes when they aired. Which if you look through your DVD books in your collections, you will see the original air dates.

You'll notice that many of the LV episodes aired Out of order, and in between the airing of the eps, dates are "missing". Well those missing dates are actually the dates that VV eps aired.

In some syndicated areas, LV was aired first; In other VV was aired first; in still others, they were mixed together.

In Hawaii, LV aired first; then followed by VV.

If you go here, you can check out the "master schedule" for how all the VV and LV episodes interlacedly aired back in '84 and '85.

I received the DVD this afternoon and watched the extras this evening.

The featurette was too ridiculously short.

The voice actor interviews were enjoyable though. Mike Bell's President bit was friggin' hilarious! lol

Okay so everyone knows that the last 20 episodes were made just for votlron right? They needed 125 episodes and only had 105 so they had the original animaters, etc make more episodes.

Anyway, my question was has anyone noticed how a lot of things are colored black instead of blue, green, brown, or whatever colors they were supposed to be? Like Green lion and Pidge's unirform. Also, none of th pilots wear their keys on their uniforms and the keys themselves are totally different. And I love how Zarkon and Lotor cheesily survived their respective deaths. Lotor and Sven "fall into water" when there was clearly no water, etc.

All that aside the original artwork for red lion was amazing and the episodes were still enjoyable. Is it just me or do the Lions look more fierce/ less cheesy as well? Ah I love Voltron! I'll hear my housemates humming the theme song from all over the house, it's great Smiler!

That's because TOEI farmed out the animation to Akom, who weren't good animators at the time.
