Speaking for myself, I'd absolutely LOVE to hear a few audio/see a few video clips of the german dubbed episodes I think that would be so very interesting to hear.

I'm of course very interested to hear Dennis Saemann's voice. I'm totally in love with Neil Ross', 'Keith'.

I like the English snarky Zarkon, but hearing an angry German Zarkon would be great! So, who did the Doomites' voices, like Hagar, Zarkon, and Lotor?

The Episodes with Lotor aren't dubbed yet, only the first 10.
But his Voice-Actor Uwe Thomsen sounds more like an re-invention of the Character. He'll be a little younger to fit more into the overall line-up, also he has a more sinister Voice compared to the original Work of Lennie Weinrib. It's deeper, darker and yes: cooler.

The evil King Zarkon is voiced by veteran Actor Reinhard Schulat.
For example he did Gyumao/The Ox-King in Dragon Ball or Bison in the animated Street Fighter Movie. Also his Voice is very similar with Jack Angels original Interpretation just a little more rough. The Recordings where very funny with him, we had a great Time 'cause he really hasn't to modify his Voice to sound like an vicious Monster-King

Witch Haggar is voiced by the Actrice Edda Fischer who really didn't much dubbing. She's more into Audio-Books, Radio-Plays and Camera/Stage-Acting. I worked with her on an Audiobook where she had some very funny Outtakes which I send to Timo some Time ago. As we thought who could do play Haggar, Timo reminded these Outtakes and came with this great Idea. We could say her Performance is very very close to B.J. Ward.

I think amazon.de is the best option. I'll post a link when you can order it.

I saw the DVD listed on Amazon.de earlier today.

Not sure if I'll be purchasing it though ... if the cost of it will be 32 Euro as Amazon.de claims, then that comes to $52AU for me. Add shipping cost to that and the price could be around $70-80AU altogether, which is just too expensive.


Incidentally, any chance we could see the DVD's cover? I tried searching for it but came up empty.

But to be honest, it's not very spectacular.

The publisher is a little bit lazy. I know the cover art is finished and the new release date is March 10th, but the amazon.de listing is still wrong (so the publisher didn't update it yet). There is also no artwork or any hint on the publisher's homepage (www.anime-house.de). I hope the listing and the homepage will be updated in the next week.

Considering that the Canadian dollar > my US dollar, I don't think I'll be able to afford any Euro-priced Voltron paraphernalia any time soon

On the other hand, you guys could have a nice shopping spree in Manhattan with your holographic Euros

I want currency with holograms on it, darn it!

Same, its going to be way too expensive in terms of the Euro verse the US Dollar, which frankly sucks in value right now.
