I am intrigued by this series (6 armed voltron), will we ever see this in America on DVD and what is it's American name, Gladiator voltron? What is that Voltron with the lion head on the chest in the trilogy special feature section on the first boxed set, never seen that before

That third robot [and at some stage of development the one slated to be "Voltron II"] is from Toei's cartoon Future Robo Daltanius

There are several Daltanius fan pages listed [mostly in Italian it seems] but I have come across a couple interesting and/or useful pages.

Google's second page of results returned this AOL based Voltron fan webpage. It has some interesting info on Toei's series of super robot cartoons that included Golion and Dairugger XV and some detailed info on Daltanius [and Albegas if your interested]. It's well worth checking out - it seems that there may have been a full Voltron pilot based on Daltanius and it might have even aired in some areas.

At the moment, I doubt it.

I don't think WEP have the rights to Albegas.

Unfortunately there are no plans for releasing Kosoku Denjin Albegas. However finding the series on dvd without subtitles is pretty easy. But the only way that we might see Albegas is if we buy the Golion and Dairugger sets when they come out if those do well then maybe it could happen.

where can I find the series on dvd without any subtitles?

Im assuming eBay would be one place, but then I haven't checked it out. I just am able to find pretty much anything on eBay. GOOD LUCK!

That would be great if you would do that. I will not sell them to anyone. This would be for me and not my kids, well maybe as part of my estate for them in the future. Let me know when they are ready.
