What VV needs to do is repaint all the cars, get some fancy sponsors, some big name drivers to be the pilots and then every show can start out with the last 10 laps of a race, after which they go on the adventure to fight the drules. We can get Darrell Waltrip to be the narrarator and every time they form Voltron he could say... "Boogity boogity boogity, let's form Voltron, boys!"
