Depends on how fast the editors work and how far along they are with reconstructing the VV eps. They should have finished a certain amount of episodes by now.

Enough for a volume 1 I bet. I wonder if VV will get collectors tins? Can't assume they will given how unpopular VV was.

Enough episodes should be completed for a VV volume 1, even volume 2 set by now.


I believe the VV releases will have tins (Air, Sea and Land Team themed at an obvious guess) in order to keep/maintain consistency with the LV releases.

MB is using the masters of Dairugger XV (not VV). To recreate the episodes as close as they can to what WEP did 24 years ago. They practically have to make the show the same way WEP did in 84/85 and that is one of the reasons LV took so long to be released.

Right. =) Because LV and VV don't really have 'Masters' to work from per se. The real masters are of the original Japanese series'. So, in order to get a good enough quality version for DVD, they have to rebuild it using it's component parts. Much like what 80's Knight does with Trans Ams...=P
