Hey, how did Voltron deal with the Drule dude who shot himself in the head?

The only reason MGS4 would appear on the X-Box 360 is if Kojima wanted to paint the sky red.

I haven't seen the episode for a while, but I think he just surrenders. Nothing is mentioned of him at all in the rest of the series.

So absolutely NO Drule general dies in Voltron? How the hell did they pull that off? I mean, in DXV, the Galbastian generals are dying left and right.

They simply omitted any mention of deaths.

No Drules died. Their deaths were simply cut out and lines like "Quick, to the escape ships" were inserted to cover the cuts, and that'd be the last time we see or ever hear of them.

There were a couple of instances where some Drule absences were explained, such as Mongo's. In DXV he died in Ep 23, but in Voltron his death was cut and Hazar says that he fled and went into exile, having had enough of fighting.

Ooooooooooooooh god, that sounds kinda lame. I don't understand why they weren't allowed to kill villians. I mean, other shows had no problem killing off bad guys, yet, Voltron couldn't kill either.

That's 80s cartoon censorship for you. razz

Funnily enough though, a couple of deaths did make it into VV: Captain Keyo and his crew (of the Galaxy Alliance) in Ep 7 "Help Not Wanted". They died when a Robeast destroyed their ship.

What about the Drule guy who was rescued by Jeff and then blown up by the Drule general?

I have no idea which Drule you're referring to.

Which episode features the Drule that you're referring to?

He's either talking about Sandu, or the Drule that played American football with them.

If he's talking about either one of them, they both died in DXV but lived in VV.

It is ep 11 A Momentary Truce where the Drule crashes and Jeff-tachi rescue him and heal his wounds, but one of the guys doesn't like him due to him killing their friends. Soon, the dude and Drule guy become friends, and after they get his ship fixed, he goes back to the Drule ship only to have the general blow him up himself because the rest of the crew would not fire their guns on him. His ship crash lands, and as the good guy is running to save him, the Drule tells him to stay away and he goes boom with the ship.

That's Sandu (Shibu in DXV).

As I stated in my previous post, he lived in VV. WEP cut out his death and recycled some footage from other episodes and stated that he'll recover from his injuries.

In a later VV episode, it's revealed that Sandu could not go back to Drule due to the Drules perceiving him to be a traitor, so he went into exile/hiding.
