Seriously, I don't mind the plot too much, if there's an end around back to Arus, say if Allura were in hiding or the Voltron project was being done in secret, and the Drules found out it was on Earth - thus the reason for pounding the planet.

But it makes no sense to me to change the characters so drastically that they aren't 'the characters' that made the show what it is.

I'd like to see an undated story line. YES! Its definitely needed.

But make it believable to the fans. This isn't very 'Voltron' to me at all.

I kinda like the idea that they don't look like perfectly molded robotic lions. I doubt magic would have created such a thing. I am sure the lions will be loyal to the cartoon. Sorry I've been absent. I've been out of town on work and vacation, but now that I'm back, it's time to make some noise. We fans have got to spread the word everywhere we can about how much we want to see the Voltron we know and love on the big screen.

Radical's are still there, though I imagine his will be deleted as well. Guess 'Down with the Movie' comments are NOT acceptable after all.

I noticed the post that I made on there this morning is no longer there.

I just reposted a comment in a more generic sense, but still getting my point across. If that's deleted, I smell a bias rat, I do.

Here's what I've posted this time around:

"I am very disappointed in the script for the new Voltron movie, what I've read about it so far from various sources. It seems that the idea is to pimp the characters and Voltron in order to say Voltron actually made it on the big screen. The characters are not true to the cannon of the show. Updating the story is a given. Who wants to retell what's been retold, but please, retain the original feel for the characters! The changes made are inappropriate and will be the end of Votlron, IMHO."

They'll probably delete mine because I used the word "douchery". =P They probably deleted yours because of the links.

Or the ethnic references may have, to qoute somethng Lance might say . . . "May have gotten their panties all in a bunch.".

Well, if mine get deleted again, then we know negative views are not wanted on this blog.

The races of the characters don't matter to me. If you find the right actor it doesn't matter. I mean Halle Berry is black, she played Storm in the Xmen movies, and lots of fans thought she was all wrong.

For the record, "Arab" denotes a culture, not a race. Some look black and some (yours truly) look white.
