Hello all!

I am new here, so I thought I would introduce myself. I am an 80's toy collector, but I mainly focus on My Little Pony and other related toys.

I joined this site to find out more about a toy I have that I believe is Voltron. I am not 100% positive though.

I do intend to sell it, so any value estimates or constructive comments are more than welcome!

Lastly, if I have done anything which is against the rules, please let me know immediately so I can take care of it.

Thank you so much for any help in advance!

Actually, you have 1/5 of the Voltron toy. The toy you posted is the yellow lion which, when transformed, forms the left leg of Voltron.

Thanks!

The sticker on it reads "1981, Made in Japan." However, it has more writing on it that is all in Japanese.

Any ideas what it might be worth?

Thanks so much!

Well I've been monitoring Ebay for the last few months because I'm looking for Voltron cells that I might want to buy.

But I've noted that the entire set of Golion metal lion robots have gone from anywhere of $150.00 to the ungodly amount of $350.00.

That might give you a basis of what to look for as to how much the asking price starts at for Yellow Lion. It depends really on how serious the collector is or how desperate they are as to how much they wish to pay for it.

lol I'm one of those Ebay folks who bid that high to rebuild my Voltron Collection. And no, the hubby has no idea how much I really spent. I just let him buy a lot of his own stuff to make up for it. Smiler
