Let me kick it off!

So, how come some of the time the Green Lion has an orange chest? What's up with that?!

Ummm . . . someone didn't get enough coffee that day and thought they were using green?

I want to know how the castle had the flight suits in just the right size for the pilots.

I've wondered that too.

I'm guessing they had quite a lot of them and they just picked out which were closest to their sizes. Keith, Lance, and Sven are all about the same size roughly so that wasn't too hard.

Either that or Alfor was REALLY clairvoyant(sp?) and knew they were coming and knew Sven would bite it, and had the 6 suits made just right.

How did the castle have a pink flight suit even thou no one expected the princess to ever fly a lion.

That's a good one! Maybe the princess made it herself from the stock suits they had. :P

I'd like to know why Coran and Nanny sometimes won't let the princess get into the Blue lion and fight saying it's too dangerous, and yet sometimes they don't object at all. Why are some situations more dangerous than others?

Well, it does seem rather weird, I'll agree. But Allura is quite a stubborn gal. Plus, in later episodes of the show, we see the objections become less and less, and I think that's because she had improved as a pilot to the point where Coran and Nanny felt comfortable with her being out there.

Plus, they knew the boys, especially Keith, would watch over her.

She just bleached-out and took in one of the red suits. =P

why does Keith wear a red flightsuit when he pilots the black lion , Lance wears a blue flightsuit in red lion and Allura wears pink in Blue lion. They fixed it in V3D

They are based on Anime. In anime, the hero or central character wears 'red'. It stands for triumphant, strong, courageous; it is the color the hero represents. Keith is the hero, so he is pictured in red, both in uniform and civilian clothing.

Pink represents purity, innocense and feminitity, which are some of the things that Allura is.

One of the meanings for blue in the Japanese culture is free-spiritness, loyalty, cold . . . which seems to partly represent Lance's attitude.

Okay I forgot about Sven why does he wear a black flight suit. Over on IMDB's battle of the planets board people say Sven was bumped off cause he didn't fit the mold made by Gatchaman and they wanted a woman flying a lion. I don't buy it.

Perhaps the suits are Trace suits made from nanomolecular fiber (and yes, I do realize I'm using Gundam tech to explain Voltron- but hear me out here) Perhaps the suits are electronically configured to each pilot's body (including thermal control- deep space is pretty cold) Essentially, the tunnel they zipline down acts as a giant scanner, and when they reach the bottom, the DNA match recalls the flight uniform. If you think about it, this theory matches with the Psychosomatic Circuitry mentioned in the movie script.
