Is Saber Rider really that good of a series? I heard it was, but haven't seen much of it. Did you guys have it when you were kids?

Saber Rider did not air where I lived (Lexington, Ky.) back in 1987, but the VHS videos eventually came out. I was hooked -- it's not Voltron, but it had good characters, great voice actors, and a good story line.
I do know that Saber Rider is particularly popular in Germany and neighboring countries -- because of that, all 52 episodes of the series are out on DVD there in Deutsch language (no English). They are handled out there by Anime House and WEP.
I seriously think that the Saber Rider series should be out on DVD here in North America -- it has it's own legion of fans here (myself included).

It's good to have (I do have a copy), but it's better than nothing.

Not to be an opportunist here, but if somebody had a nice and short fic or something, I could offer to do a manga of it...in exchange for something?

XD I am a busy student but I do take on commissions from time to time. I just wanted to give bluelace some options since she was wishing for a manga.
