Is this too expensive or just about right price for this sort of condition?

I wouldn't pay that much for a flap-box Voltron in any condition.

I thought the link above was a little expensive myself...

The Popy version, yea...that's the expensive one (although I personally don't think the Popy's worth the high price either)...

I would have stopped at 170.00 for that one. Lets just keep in mind, this is a toy thats well over 20 years thats never been opened. And that one was also made in Japan. One of the better sets sold in the 80s.

Too expensive. I have the exact same one, but the box is mint, and I won it for 180. Also MISB.

How long ago did you win that auction, Alpine? I would like a Voltron MISB but they only come few and far between on eBay.

It also seems like the value may have gone up because MIB (not MISB) Voltrons are selling for 180-190ish....

Many moons ago. It's been a while, like 1999 or something along those lines. I'm not a die hard collector by any means, as I wanted a MISB LV, and I got one. Happy camper. All the other stuff, not needed in my brain.

I've probably bought out most of the auctions as of late. I dare not tell my hubby I've paid close to $400 for some items (combined winning bids).

Lol...if that keeps you happy, then cool!

Which buyer are you on eBay (ie: your eBay username)? Maybe you can sell me some of the items you bought if your husband gets mad Smiler

Youre an awesome wife. hehe.

And back in the late 90s, i could never find a Voltron mint in box for less than 300.00 at specialty retail stores. I was never an ebayer than either. Confused
