Welcome to the board. Wink

Please don't use caps though, it makes it look like you're shouting.

As for your question, I have a Masterpiece Voltron and have never had any problems with it.

Others have had problems with one of Blue Lion's legs if I remember correctly.

Yeah, one user here had that problem. It was Gankutsuou, I think.

I just got mine yesterday! Razzer

A-W-E-SOME! I know there are tons of fans out there who bash or remain loyal to the original Bandai version which is cool but I love my MP. This is my first Voltron since 1984-85. I guess my position is that since I already experienced the Matchbox version, I'll experiment.

I keep hearing that the MP is a "collector's piece" and shouldn't be played with. I agree, but if I scored a real minty Matchbox version or the holy Golion, I doubt I'd play with it much either, given the chrome parts and risk of joint loosening. I'll admit that the MP is so pretty, that there is fear of mucking it up. It does also seem to be more fragile than the vintage version as I can remember. I loosened the screws on the joints to relieve stress on the plastic which helps enormously. All in all, I do think it is fairly durable and my biggest fear is fading the chrome and paint. I handle it with a micro-fibre cloth. This may seem to be too much work, but for $150, caution is just sensible. I'd handle any other product from Yamato (Macross Valks), Bandai etc the same way.

I just wish the set came with more weapon accessories.

Minor details to make the set a 10 could be:

1. if the Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow lion heads detached for the "Lion Attack".

2. Black lion hind legs were as articulate as the others to crouch. (even though this is the most articulated Black Lion to date)

3. Black Lion wings had white trim

4. Red/Green Lion heads had slightly extendable and articulated necks. (Yes, I know the heads are already articulated)

5. Tails on Red, Green, Blue, Yellow lions had articulation.

These are just small nitpicking points I thought to mention, but I'm 100% satisfied. MPC gets thumbs up!
