Well I finally dug my old voltron out of my parents old attic, it has probably not seen the light of day for 20 years. The thing works great with minimal damage, just signs of avid use.
It is a Voltron III I think, the one made in Japan, 1981. Might have been called Golion then I think. My question is- how do you remove the arms? Back then it seemed so easy, now I am having trouble getting the red ang green lion arms out of the black lion body. I am reluctant to pull to hard, since this is an old toy. Am I missing some kind of trick? The legs come off easy by pushing the button. Thanks for your help, me and my wife have racked our brains over it like it was one of those bar puzzles to no avail. Does it just need a little oil? Thanks for your help. Regards, Yugo |

Well, I tried some Liquid Wrench penetrant on the arm sockets. After wiggling them about for a few seconds, the arms pulled right out.
My model is the one without the yellow buttons on the arms. Hope this helps someone else out. -Yugo |
