I sent an email to Toynami last week for status on the Masterpiece Voltron, and here is the reply I received:

So it looks like The Masterpieces on eBay are actually available from the sellers who are listing them right now. If no one else on the board has received their preorders yet, maybe Diamond and the other distributors simply have not gotten their stock from Toynami yet if the first wave was small. I'm crossing my fingers that my preorder will be shipping soon, although I haven't heard from Big Bad Toy Store yet.... :?

Talk about timing! I just got an email from Big Bad Toy Store advising me that my pre-order is in and will be shipping a.s.a.p.! I should have my Masterpiece Voltron in less than a week! 8)

Mainly online. No Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, or anything like that.

I think you'll only find the Masterpiece set in specialty stores and not stores like Walmart, etc.

Toynami's site has a list of stores that carry their products. Look up the list and you might find a place that's near you that may have the MP set.

I've got 2 near me, but they have never carried the I-Men so I'm not expecting them to carry the MPC

I'VE gone to the Toynami site, and none of the stores listed had the MP.

You can also run a google search for Voltron Masterpiece Collection, or Toynami Voltron Masterpiece Collection.

Black Lion - besides the 2 sites Corlock posted, there are also tons of the MPE on eBay right now, but with some sellers you really take your chances. On the flip side, there are a lot of legitimate online merchants who just use eBay as their storefront. You might want to check in eBay stores. As I mentioned in a different thread, don't pay more than the list price of $149.99 (+ shipping and handling).

One of the reasons I ordered through BigBadToyStore.com was that they offer a "collector's grade" option, where they choose the ones with the nicest looking packaging and ship it with extra padding and such so you get it in as perfect condition as possible.

I think you can also order it through amazon.com - at least I saw it listed the last time I was on their site.

If you have any comic book stores near you, ask if they will order it for you. I believe Otakushan said it was being distributed through Diamond.

Nope, but Toy Tokyo has an actual location in NYC, and it's where I physically went to buy my MPC.

I believe that bluelace got hers from there as well
