Hey all, thought I'd post this: While searching after looking at the banner for sale by DDP I found another auction. Voltron sheet set. Now, everyone by now has seen a sheet set for Voltron, and some of us (Allegra) have them, and even some other stuff made from them.

However...this set came from a man whom retired from Burlington Industries and they were stored in a drawer months before this line went on
sale to the public.

They have NEVERR been out of the package!!! Never used on a childs bed, etc! How rare is THAT?!?!? I was giddy and I scooped em up. Granted I paid 51 bucks for them, but hey...as rare as it is to find Voltron sheets never taken out of the bag...I think it's worth it.

Nice Find. I got mine as a suprise from an EBAY auctiom. I won the voltron rease lion track set . Sel told me it was in mint. Well it was far from mint. So he sent me voltron sheets and a bunch of other stuff including some gen 1 transformers.

If im not out in 10 min. Get a can opener!

I've got the Matchbox sword and shield. I don't have the Matchbox Voltron so I plan on auctioning it off sometime on ebay. You find a lot of good stuff but the odd time you get the rotten end of the stick.

Is it by chance the full version instead of the miniature version?

Hehe, K2, you're so funny. I've had my sheets set for years, and happily used them while a teenager. I saw your bedroom set with the comforter, but you still need the drapes, blanket, sleeping bag, and towel for the whole linens set. Although, I remember seeing a doona cover on ebay once (an Aussie-only thing, I believe - like a duvet), but didn't win the auction.

Ah, but I have a sealed set...that is rare with a cartoon sheet set that a kid didn't rip open the plastic and slap them on the bed pronto. lol

I don't care much to have the drapes, sleeping bag, or blanket. They all have the same design pattern anyway. I state on my site that those are available, but I personally don't have interest in them. razz

Ah, but I prefer opening the packages so that I can ENJOY my toys and such! It never made sense to me to have comics "vacuum sealed in mint condition forever". I'd rather read and enjoy them and run the risk of a crease here or there. But that's me.

There are a few Voltron toys I haven't opened, but as for the rest - well, they're TOYS after all!

I am the same way. The collector in me wants to keep things mint, and in perfect shape, whatever the item may be. Then the Inner Kid in me wants to tear it open and use it, or play with it like Allegra mentioned. I see both of your points, and you both seem like good loyal Voltron fans. No sense in arguing who is better or more rare, or whatever. You both make good points, and are cool in my book. GO VOLTRON....

Wow I would be conflicted if I found sealed Voltron linens... I do not think I could buy them only because I know I would not want to open them adn linens just are not interesting for display in package. Confused

Well that's why I've got a loose set as well. That way I've got one for display, and one in it's package. I do that with most of my collection if possible.
