It is indeed very difficult to tell, but there were existing sales of chromed mid section green and red lions sold in these boxes at some point. Only the middle part of the mid sections though, unlike the original Popy which was fully chromed in the mid section.
Ive actually held the one in question.

Recently, I was told there were many variations and pin pointing models was very difficult.
I was losing my hair due to this. lol

Oh and the black lion in that listing up there has dulled teeth like the Matchbox release.
Its a very nice set regardless.
