Yeah to explain a little more we took all of your advice and stuck with the original pilots.

The video clip is what Harmony Gold did with Robotech and we want to do the same perhaps packaged with a DVD and available seperatly.

We would like to know which of the three background designs you all like the best and would want to create a whole collection of...

I'm personally in between Voltron and Black Lion in front of the castle but right now leaning towards Black Lion only...

And yes the background is art from Toynami, as we got the pilots off of those 35mm slides we talked about and they requred major touch up work by Mspako...

...and Hunk's eye will look normal.

To be honest, I really don't like any of the cel reproduction concepts/designs. I was kind of hoping for cel reproductions of actual scenes from the show.

Yeah that would be fun to do but we have pretty limited options when getting ahold of scenes.

Any other opinions on this atwork though if we had to choose one to go with?

The second ending version of the series, the 5 pilots are outside the castle jumping up in the air: I would like to see that as an option to buy

Of course Voltron forming blazing sword or the spear.

We tried to make the jumping scene work but it was too blurry for anything anyone would want to purchase...

Of the three backgrounds, I like the second one the best (Black Lion and the Castle).

I think that is waht it comes down to, Black Lion or robot...

All good choices, but since there's no high resolution artwork to begin with, its pretty tough to pull off without redrawing the scenes in layers.

We could probably make prints from some of these, but they wouldn't be cels and background layers.

Would 640x480 sized pics be big enough?

Not even close for professional printing.
