Just curious to your opinion. They came out again in 1997. Anyone think Voltron toys will come out again? Big Grin

If the new series and movie get done anytime this century, maybe they'll make new toys and the older toys will be popular again. I don't know how well the new toys would do, or how long the old toys would be popular with the yougner generation, but the toy idea might come around eventually.

Agreed! I think they will comeback once the series and movie are out.

I would not doubt that new Voltron toys would be made. When they get made is another story.

True....

It all depends too on how well they are marketed...and if the series and movie are a hit or not.

Here's a question. Let's say the toys DO get another go. Panosh Place, Matchbox, LJN, and Trendmasters are all gone, so....

What company would you like to see tackle Voltron, and why?

Me? Probably Playmates. They did a BANG-UP job with the old TMNT, the new TMNT, and all the Star Trek lines. They wouldn't fail.

Those listed companies still exist, what he's asking is other than those listed companies, what company would you like to see make the Voltron toy and why.

IMO I chose Bandai Because of the great job they did with the Gundam Seed Action figures and the much improved quality in the craftman ship of the Gundams. So maybe they would do a great job with Voltron if given the Chance.
