Hey folks! I know some of you may have seen this as a photo album option, but I received a few requests to have it posted as discussion instead, as some have photos on Photobucket and other host areas that they'd like to get on as well.

So, I've deleted the original thread, and I'm posting this one instead. (for those that want to participate, but don't have Flash capabilities *and I'm sorry, i wasn't aware this was a problem! MY BAD!!!* )

Hello everyone! I thought this might be a cool idea. Since we have so many talented people around here, I thought this might work.

Do you have a camera? A picture cell phone? Anything that can take a picture? This is your opportunity to post pics of interest.

It could be a pic of a lovely sunset . . .
Your family holiday, birthday, anniversary . . .
It might be a pic of your home, your pets . . .
How about pics of your hometown?

The point is, its yours to post in! The ONLY limitation is that it MUST be photo pics (no drawings, fanart, photo manipulations)

AND NOTHING VULGAR, TASTELESS OR OTHERWISE OFFENSIVE PLEASE!!

If you post any of that, it will be removed.

"Lake Effect Snowstorm Ahead!"


Downtown Buffalo - taken while I was driving into work, 11/6/07. The dark clouds are a lake effect snowstorm that dumped nearly a foot of snow in the southern tier, about 20 minutes from where I work.

Then I've got a great one for you. I took this picture the morning after Hurricane Isabel hit the US. This was taken off my back porch.

Ok, I've got quite a few pics that I want to show off here. Forgive me if the board takes awhile to load. All of these photos were taken with a 35mm camera.







If you look closely at the tree trunk above, you can see bullet holes from the 1863 Battle of Fredericksburg during the Civil War.

All of my pics were in Virginia. The first 4 pics were taken near my grandparents' house. They live in the Blue Ridge Mountains, about an hour North of the Nort Carolina state line.

The last several pics were taken in Fredericksburg, Va.

These are pictures that I took while on vacation at the beach in 2004, the first two are to large in size to openly post, so they are just links.

This is a sunset I took back on my daughters birthday...
